The
Orange County Reading Council (OCRC) is a dynamic professional organization
that provides motivational and informative meetings. We also sponsor
local and international projects. Activities are planned to help our
members grow in the knowledge of literacy in our community and the world.
Some of our projects include: |

Providing reading materials to Shepard's Hope Clinic • Donating books to children at local Christmas parade • Donating reading materials to needy communities |
| OCRC's newsletter provides opportunities to share successful ideas, activities, and strategies with colleagues. The newsletter also contains information about state, national, and international initiatives. |
| The dues are only $6.00 a year (July 1st - June 30th). All beginning teachers can join free of charge! Please contact Joyce Kikendall at 407.877.5054 x501 for your form and questions. You can also email Joyce at: kikendj@ocps.net. We look forward to meeting with you. |
